Ginormous egg!!!

    My poor little Leghorn laid this egg right in the middle of the run, in the mud. She must have needed to get it out fast. It had blood on it.

  5. WOW!!! Do you think you could weigh that monster on a scale that can do ounces and/or grams and post the weight before you use it?

    I'm so sorry! I don't have internet at home so I didn't get the message about weighing it. I don't have a good scale anyways so I don't know if it would work well. Here is the pic...its a double yolk with the yolks fused!! I have never seen that before!! Poor girl [​IMG]

    Awww!!! Poor lil hen! That would be the equivalent of a 95 lb mom giving birth to a 10 lb baby... Give her something delicious to eat as a reward. [​IMG]

    They got some pumpkins and I have some apples for them today (= hehe! And they have eaten my violas so I guess that counts too!
