For a friend that keeps thinking boy, but I think pullet..it's RIW, this particular person breeds them pretty big.

5 and a half months old..no crowing yet..no egg yet. Sooo

Can't get a larger photo..got it from my friends message. Sure is a tall chicken. But that doesn't always mean roo..still has some filling out to do. Going to be a big girl if it's a girl.

from what I can see, rooster because of the top sickle feathers. Can you ask the friend for a better picture?

My guess is rooster, but again a better picture would make it easier to tell.

You guys are good..it crowed yesterday. Ha, thanks for the feed back. I was wrong. Had a gal that was sooo looking for a RIW rooster, she lucked out. The young man that had it was hoping for a girl, can't keep roosters, so, off he went, to some other RIW's. For some breeding.

You can see the pointed tail feathers- it's a rooster.
