Girls Checking Out Their Nest Boxes

Two of my girls were checking out the nest boxes this evening for the first time. I have never seen anyone in any of them. Is this a hint of something to come?

checking out may be a way of getting ready to start then again when I put my nesting boxes in the babies (now nearly 15 weeks old) thought it hilarious to put the nesting material out one piece at a time as soon as my back was turned.
