Giving Broody Half Baked Eggs?

I have one broody that I gave 8 eggs. Of course the other girls added 4 more 10 days later. I have another hen that just went broody. Will the new broody be ok if the eggs I give only take 10 days to hatch?

What can possibly happen when the first chicks hatch,,,,,,,,, and no more hatch for a day or two,,,, is she will abandon the nest thinking there is no more coming.
She will get off nest and start feed training her young chicks, as well as keeping them warm when she needs to. The off egg time may be enough to stop chick progress in those eggs. Be ready to ether place under a different hen, or incubator if you have one.
It is always BEST to have all chicks hatch at same time. This way the chicks are same size. There is no bullying by the slightly larger chicks, of the small ones.

Yes you can give the eggs to the other Broody Hen..

Yes you can give her the new eggs as long as you know for sure which eggs are the new ones. They'll sit until they hatch whether it be as long as 40 days or as little 3 days. They're ultimate goal is to hatch some babies no matter the length.
