GLW hen is acting very strange

My hen was doing well this morning -- walking around pecking -- normal. I was feeding the chickens a little while ago and noticed that she is sitting with her tail drooped and didn't even try to run away when I approached her. There are no injuries, but she did lay an egg that didn't have a shell. It was just a watery mess with a small yolk . Is she lacking in something ? Should we give her a antibiotic ? I really don't want her to die -- so is there someone who has experianced this before that can help quick ?

I'd give her a douche with a large syringe without the needle. She may still have some goo or membrane inside. It's best if that is flushed out. The recipe is 2 tablespoons vinegar to a quart of water. Insert it in the vent with the syringe or a turkey baster.

I have been checking on her thro out the day and she is acting fine. She must have had a cramp about something ?? She hasn't laid any egg yet, but this could be her day off. I am anxious to see what her next egg looks like. Thanks for the advice on douching -- I'll keep that in mind if she acts funny again !
