Ok, so I know it's still a little early to tell for sure, she is 4 weeks exactly...but I would like some opinions. She is the only rose comb we have, so I have nothing to compare her too. All the other chicks have single combs, but they are a very pale fleshy color...Lulu's is much darker, and her wattles are darker too. So do rose combs get redder quicker than single combs, or might she be a he??
I would really like to know the answer to your question too! I have a 6 week old GLW that I'm hoping is a girl too! She's my only GLW so I don't have anything to compare her with either. Her wattles are pretty red already and I don't know if that means anything or not. Let's compare! Here's a pic of mine: she's between 4-5 weeks in the pic
Well thanks for the input...I thought it was looking a little too big and red for only 4 wks old. Here are a couple more I took today. Thanks for your help!
