    Thanks for sharing that hopeful sign of change for the BETTER! As much as I don't like living as close as I do to the Seattle metroplex area, I've gotta hand it to them for their environmental vision.

    :weeeMy friend called me to tell me this great news, since I don't get a paper! Here in Sammamish our chicken numbers are based on property size, so I've not had to worry, but I think it is WONDERFUL for Seattle to up the flock numbers and encourage chicken keeping!!!

    When I contacted our city regarding chickens, they really didn't know who we should talk to. As long as they don't become a nuisance to the neighbors we can have as many as we want! [​IMG]

    This was in the P-I today. They are saying more chickens will be allowed but no roosters.

    Someone has a solution for the Roosters. "The explosion in city-slicker farming gave Grant an idea for a "great business opportunity," in which she began offering her humane butchering services on Craigslist for a $20 a bird."
