ok, we pick the babies up tomorrow. we are also picking up a 3rd, a sister of the solid black one. i read though, that pygmy goats cant have blue eyes..is that true? can anyone tell me if they look like they are mixed with something else? i dont mind if they are, just curious.

there is the girl, and her sister looks about the same, with a white band around her middle and blue eyes.

    here is the boy

    any opinions welcomed!!
also, is there any way to trim the solid black ones fur to where its a little neater looking? or is that just how it looks?

Sounds like a Pygmy Nigerian cross to me. Pygmies never have blue eyes unless they are cross bred.

Yup, Pygmy/Nigi crossed to get the blue eyes. I must say...my Giada baby from the December kiddings is the most ADORABLE baby we've ever had here, she's Pygmy/Nigi...I think it's a great cross!

    Congrats! They're super cute!!!
