Our male goat had his horns debudded when he was a kid but they still grew. At first I didn't think it would be a problem but they have gotten bigger and bigger and now they have curled around and are going into his eyes! I was wondering if I could clip his horns myself or would it be better to take him to a vet?

He is now about 2 years old. He is a nigeran dwarf goat so his horns are terribly long but they are pretty strong&thick. If anyone could help, please do so. Thanks in advance:)

DO NOT cut them yourself. the horns have a LOT of blood in them and he could quickly bleed to death! take him to a vet . they may only be able to trim them...

I used to raise a herd of ADGA Nubians and Saanens. Take him to the vet. They should be able to file them down so they aren't harming the goat.
