today I put some goat mineral out for my goats in a small dish and the chickens keep going over to it and taking some, should i take it away and feed it to my goats where the chickens can't get it? im not sure what's in it that would be bad for chickens. its manna pro goat mineral.

They are fine. My chickens have shared space with goats for years and have done well. You can put a few handfuls of grain/goat feed/mineral in metal pans and just enough for the goats to eat at a time. My chickens will not bother eating goats but they clean up any spilled feed. I set out mineral blocks for the goats occasionally and the chickens peck at it just out of curiosity.

okay, yeah i think it was more out of curiosity because it was something new because today i didnt see them near it at all. are you able to keep your goats out of your chicken feed successfully?
