Gold tops?

We bought some hatching eggs and were told that they were Gold Tops (Silkie/Light Sussex cross) and that they were sex-linked (i.e. that the white ones would be boys and the buff ones would be girls). Here are 4 of the 5 that have hatched - we have 1 white (pale yellow) and 4 buff in total (no picture of one of them). Can anyone confirm if what we've been told is correct please? The chicks were only 3 days old when this photo was taken, earlier this week.

Hello. Do you happen to know the color of the silkie? It might be true if the silkie is a certain color.

Unfortunately we don't know what colour the silkie was. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how these turn out - I'll wait until they're a little bigger and then post some more pictures on here.
