    My oldest son Paul gives his favorite hen, Jenny, a pedicure. No need to call the SPCA on us. We run a chicken day spa here.

    She looks a lot like an orpington in the pic. That's the first thing I thought when I saw the pic. She looks much less like one up close. Her feathers are tight.

    Looks like a Buff Orpington.

    I think Golden Comets are just a type of Red SexLink...so if she were one of those she would probably have less uniform coloring with more red in the feathers and yellow legs too....

    I got 3 Buff O's in April from the feed store, so that makes them about 5 months old. One is very friiendly, and jumps up on my knee for a snuggle every time I sit out with them. Occasionally 1 of the other BO's will do the same. So considering the color & size and obvious good temperment, I'd say you have a Buff Orph on your hands. The waddles on mine are not as long as yours, so I'd guess she is a bit older. These are my first, so couldn't guess how much older. [​IMG]
