her eggs are starting to get the darker color! I love the color and pattern now. Wish it would stay like this but I know it will be darker.

I have a Blue Splash Marans that lays speckled eggs like that almost daily. My BC Marans lays solid dark eggs.

Nice! Now I know what I can possibly expect. I ordered a Golden Cuckoo Maran from Meyer's (along with some other breeds) and will be getting her mid March. I'm excited!

My Golden is very outgoing she was the 1st to escape the brooder. She is one of the top hens. She is very chatty to me She flys up on my shoulder every chance she gets. Love her.
