These four girls just joined our flock. Two are Blue Laced Red Wyandotte, and I'm told the other two are Lavender Buff Orpington, but none of my research confirms that. Thoughts?

These do not look like Orpingtons of any kind. Can you get close-up photos of the two girls in question? They appear to be some kind of partridge in coloring. I expect they are mixed breed. They also have very dark shanks and possibly some fibromelanin going on. Can you get clear close-ups of their combs as well?🙂

Apparently a lavender orpington male over buff orpington females makes birds like the two with the wyandottes. My friend has one, too. View attachment 2873561
I have to disagree, this bird looks very different to me. Shank color is different and feather pattern is very different than the OP’s birds.
Lavender crossed with anything but lavender will act as black genetically.😊
