    Howdy!

I'm hoping to find someone who knows where I can buy, trade, or sweet talk some Golden Laced Orpingtons. I am also hoping to find some Partridge Cochins. Any suggestions?

Thanks I will try that. I am new to this, I didn't realize there were clubs. (I know, here's your sign!)

To my knowledge there are NO Golden Laced Orpingtons in the USA that compare to those in Germany and other European countries. I know there are some out there claiming to have them and I am not saying they do not but I have yet to see photographs to make me think otherwise. This is my favorite color in my favorite breed. If I had the space I would be developing my own line now but I unfortunately do not have the space.

Here is a previous post I started on creating GLOs.

    Good luck

I believe corancher on here is in the middle of a project with golden laced orpingtons.

PS Please edit the title of this thread and spell orpingtons right. You will get more responses. [IMG] Not being rude, just trying to help you out because a lot of people on here really get disturbed by misspelling orpington.

Wow that thread will keep me busy for a while. Thanks for the link [IMG]
That is one of the most beautiful birds I have seen.

I wish I knew more about chicken genetics, I would be right there with you working on this one. I will try some research, and eduate myself.

I didn't realize this was not a breed in the US. I just found some pics on the internet. Good Luck. I will be happy to help if possible.
