I ordered golden laced wyandotte pullets from a hatchery, but I got a few extra. Does this one look like a cockerel? She/he is 6 weeks old.

Single comb does not mean male...Wyandottes should have rose combs, male and female, but sometimes especially in hatchery stock a single comb pops up.The comb is getting red... need to do a closeup photo, but my phone battery died after the picture above. I have 3 glw chicks left (sold the others). Two look like the picture and the 3rd has a straight comb. Could that one be the boy? I probably sold the extra "roo" and will get him back eventually
Thanks for your help so far. I'll try to add more pictures, too.
Exactly. I've only run across one single comb. She was from Privette Hatchery, in NM.Single comb does not mean male...Wyandottes should have rose combs, male and female, but sometimes especially in hatchery stock a single comb pops up.
