Golden polish gets her ''HAIR'' wet every time she gets a drink!!

Has anyone had a polish that seems to misjudge the water and get their top knot wet?? I only have one polish, she was my free exotic chick....and exotic she is!! This bird is so silly! The wet top knot looks like little worms hanging so the others sometimes think they need to try to eat them?! This is not a huge problem but I don't want her to get sick from having a wet head. She is 7 weeks old

TOP KNOT: Polish have their eyesight impaired by the feathers, especially if they are really wet...This is normal for the breed and it will not get sick from dampness...You can give the little gal a hand by giving her a haircut.....Calling her "silly" makes chuckle...They are almost like kids sometimes..Love her and she'll give you many wonderful memories...
