My two girls are 3 1/2 months old. They are inseparable. They do EVERYTHING together and never leave each other's side. I'm wondering when they start laying (which could be real soon) will they seperate from each other or do they need to have a big enough nesting box to share? I feel like they are twins and can't imagine them doing anything apart from the other.

They should start laying at about 5 months old. They still have a bit of growing and maturing to do.

One nest box per 4 hens is really all you need.
