Has anyone ever used golf balls in their nest boxes with success?
We used them...worked for us
Thanks! I'll give it a try.Wasn't sure if it was a dumb idea or not.
We have them in there. The first egg was laid right outside the boxes, and the second one was out in the run. And the 3rd.... well we have golf balls in 2 of 3 boxes, and guess which one she chose to lay the egg in? Of course the one without them. So I guess they sorta work
I dunno if they work or not but they are in there....
worked for me
It worked with my chickens.
worked for me..when can i take them out?
Well, my husband has never collected the golfballs we used thinking they were eggs.
Last night, I saw the biggest basket of eggs we had ever gotten (possible with the number of girls we have but not everyone is laying), I was so excited as I got home from work. 6 - count them SIX - 6 fake ceramic eggs that he collected from the nest boxes in addition to the 12 other eggs!
So, golf balls are good!
