I'm getting frustrated with trying to buy hardware cloth locally. Local sources sell dinky little lengths - like 10-20', for a lot of $$$$$$.

I need at least 100' to finish a run. I'm thinking maybe I can get a deal online if I look hard enough, especially if I find a 'free shipping' special somewhere. Does anyone have a good source?

I think unless you do find a free shipping deal somewhere the shipping will keep it from being any cheaper than you can get it locally.

This is the company I use:

I've bought two 100 foot rolls of their vinyl coated hardware cloth, 19 gauge, 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch. It's nice stuff, not inexpensive, though.

Try Ace Hardware. I haven't gotten hardware cloth per se from them, but their prices on welded wire (I usually get 1x2) is about the best. If you do site to store shipping, you don't have to pay any shipping charges.

Also, Ace is pretty good about ordering in things they don't normally carry if you just ask. I would suggest calling them and asking them to order you a 100' roll.

I also use Ace Hardware in Buckeye Az. you can order any size and length that you want. Have it store shipped, cost is nothing to you.

Remember folks...it is just my opinion, but I don't agree with the last post....lot's of "stuff" but you be the judge....you need netting stronger than for your blueberry bush....you get what you pay for however.
