    Hi everyone,

My name is Amy and I'm brand new to chickens, thanks to a stray RIR who wandered into our garage last month. None of my neighbors claimed her, so she'll live out her years with us. We even got her a friend (lavender Ameraucana), and after about a week of getting to know each other on two sides of a fence, they are now buddies.

We live in a suburb in north TX and are enjoying our fresh eggs! <3
