Hello from Gainesville, Florida! I am a fairly new chicken keeper. I purchased six speckled sussex chicks back in March. They have been an absolute joy. We made the mistake of purchasing a chicken tractor that said it could accommodate 5-7 birds but in reality that number should be closer to three. Luckily they're still doing okay in there at 13 weeks, but my husband and I have been working tirelessly to convert a used children's playhouse into a decent sized coop. I am so excited for the finished product!
