Good outcome to a bad situation

    Just before Christmas 2016, I was out of town and I got word from my farm sitter/chicken partner that one of the hens was attacked most likely by a fox.. She had a 5" gash on her breast.. She went to a vet that stitched her up and gave care instructions. She was able to go back to the flock after a few days. Now she is healed up completely after 30 days and ready to lay again.
    I post this to give you hope if you have this situation.
