It is best to buy eggs from a breeder who lives the closest to you. The less travel time, the better hatch you will have. My best hatch with shipped eggs were the ones I bought from a breeder in my own state. I can recommend Pips and Peeps in Washington state (BYC member) since I just bought Wheaten/Blue Wheaten Ameraucana eggs from her and shipping was fast, eggs packed well, fresh and of good quality! She sells her eggs on BidBirdAuction.com.
    Good Luck! [IMG]

    thanks everyone!

we are looking for a mixed dozen, no silkies or banties.
I would like to have some olive eggers, blue eggers, a barnevelder, maybe a lavender, large colorful chickens.
We live in VA and have a small (12) flock of hens that are free range.
feel free to email me if you can help me out. [email protected]
Ill check out all those links.
    Cheers :O)

Quote:Since you are in VA, I must mention that VA requires eggs sellers that ship to the state undergo additional testing requirements. Contact your local extension service or state vet office for more info on those requirements.
