Goose’s egg sticks to butt or....

This has happened a few times now. In the morning when we let our goose out she runs out and we find an egg shortly after just laying in the mudd. Is it sticking to her butt or just sliding out with all the excitement? Just thought it was weird. Anyone else have this happen?

Haven’t seen it with my goose but my Runners and Buffs have been known to just lay right where the notion strikes them. Just too busy to go back inside.
