Goose - red-rimmed eye - infection? w/pic

    The skin that surrounds the eye on two of our geese looks much redder than the rest of the flock. We make sure they have clean water every day, but wondering if this is possibly an infection. The eye itself looks fine. These are Roman Tufted... thanks for any input you might have.

    That is odd. [​IMG] Since it doesn't seem to be infected, I would avoid any anitbiotics at the time. It looks like the same color as her beak??? Look out for more symptoms is all I can say to do for now...
