Our newest chickens are these two Buff Orpington/Plymouth Barred Rock mixes - Miri and Giilfy. Hatched in an incubator, they're new to the flock.
I love this next picture - one moment they're enjoying leftover jack-o-lantern, then Miri is being goosed by one of the hens higher up in the pecking order.
Here's another fun recent picture. Clover, the bantam rooster has been feeling his oats. I don't think he realizes The Colonel is at least three times his size. Maybe he has a Napoleon complex. In this rare rooster face off, Henrietta senses that all is not well and hustles out of the way. Moments later, Clover lost his nerve and turned tail and ran. Smart rooster.
