got 3 new chickens today

    got me 3 RIR,S today 2 hens and a rooster we named the rosster mac daddy since hes such a big boy..my 2 boys named the hens one is cowgirl other is Carlee..

    Congratulations! They are beautiful! (And handsome!)

    I'm not sure this was a good day to see these, though. I just today changed my chick order to exchange my RIR rooster for a partridge rock....

    They are going to know me by name over at the hatchery if this keeps up. [​IMG] But really, I've been agonizing over the decision for weeks.

    Hopefully the partridge rock will be a good rooster to have gotten. Though, with almost 5 weeks left until they are shipped.... [​IMG] [​IMG]

    I love my reds. They are so sweet. I cant wait til they get full grown like that. Such beautiful feathers. We got 7 chicks today. 5 Americaunas and 2 mystery chicks.

    How cool, Vamp-a-Billy! Where did you get them?

    One of my favorite hens was a mystery chick. [​IMG] I believe I'll be getting one in my chick order in June, as well. Let's just hope it's not a rooster. [​IMG] lol!
