Went out to collect eggs yesterday from the older girls, all who lay brown eggs. Came across a very small white egg in the nest box. Has to be from one of the 4 Leghorns that we got back in Feb. I wasn't expecting any eggs from these girls until late July or early August, what a nice surprise. Was like when I found our very first egg two years ago, very exciting!
