Got a huge egg this weekend!

    My husband brought in the eggs Saturday and one of them was huge! It weighed in at 4.07 oz! That's the biggest we've gotten so far.

    HOLY COW! There's probably multiple yolks in it. Watch your hens carefully, whoever laid that is bound to have some trouble, she may go eggbound next time round!

    Gee whiz. I can't get my hens to even lay a normal grade a egg.

    I too had a huge egg only to find not double yolk but double egg. The outside shell (egg) when cracked open had another egg (shelled) inside. Double egg? a first for me.

    Isa Browns lay big eggs nomally however I am sure that egg is a double yolked.

    My husband fried it up last night. It was a double yoker. It made one heck of a fried egg sandwich!
