Got an olive egg yesterday

    But don't know who laid it. Have one unknown hen and one I think is a welsummer.
    Can you help identify them thanks? Gold-colored pullet.

    It is either from the barred one or the gold one, the last one looks like a rooster. Have you gotten any other eggs yet? Could you get better individual pictures?

    I think the barred one. It looks like an Oliver Egger.

    The gold hen is a buff Orpington and the black rooster looks like a cross.. :)

    @Peep-Chicken is it just me or does it look like the barred one looks like it has white earlobes? I thought the gold one was a BO.

    Left to Right, you have what looks like a Barred Holland or Production Black (white earlobes), a Buff Orpington, and what looks like a mixed breed cockerel.

    Which one? The cockerel? He's got yellow skin showing through the dark wash on his legs, can't be Marans. Marans have white skin, like the Orpington, and it's a dominant trait.

    Found out one of my RIR hens is a cockerel now this mixture is also a cockerel.

    Oh my, sorry! It does indeed look like it has white earlobes. But I do agree that the gold one is a buff orp. :)
