Got my first shipment of chickens in the mail today!
They were sent Express but then the post office lost them so they arrived a day late, i was so worried, but they arrived ok.
I rushed to go get them at 5:30am this morning.
The seller was very helpful and got me a refund when the chickens arrived late.
These chickens came from EM squared farm (you should check them out, they have a few breeds of chickens for sale)!
They are adorable i love them [IMG]!
I couldn't be more pleased. They are sitting in quarantine right now.

    These are my babies.

Too cute!! I don't want to burst your bubble, but you shouldn't use cedar chips in there. There is an aromatic oil that doesn't go well with the chickens in cedar.
Good luck with them, I love that black tail white!

Very pretty! Tell us the breeds and color names (I want to know what that one is called, too- is it blue with some tan mixed in)!!!

    Her name is Slate
    She's a blue Ameraucana bantam.
It was funny because when i opened the shipping box Slate had already laid 2 blue eggs.
I would have thought the shipping would be to stressful for her to lay o_o!
The little black one is named Saki and the white one is named Sakura they are assorted bantams (Japanese bantam culls i saved) so, i gave them japanese names.
I'm also getting some nice blue silkies in a few days !
