Got my chicks today!

Well the newbie FINALLY got her chicks today, 2 ameraucana chicks (which might be Easter Eggers, as I was told here) and 2 Road Island Reds! If the feed store gets any Barred rock my parents said we can go and get some of those

, but if they don't I'm happy with what I got.

the chicks are only 2 days old (they got them in on Tuesday)

I also got 2, 1 week old, Ducklings

is it okay that they (the chicks) aren't that active? I kind of expected them to be run all over the place, but they are taking lots of naps, eating, drinking, walking around a little bit, and course Peeping

Right now they are sleeping in their food lol

My 5 RIR chicks are only about 2-3 days old. They hatched Monday. I thought they would be very active too, but they do sleep a lot. As long as they eat and drink I guess.

I would put some marbles or small rocks in there water for a couple weeks so they won`t drown.baby chicks fall asleep really fast and if they are near the water they could drown

They are adorable! I can't wait to bring my own little fluff balls home.

I'm just smitten with love

I am a little on edge, everytime they go to sleep I watch them closely, just to make sure they are okay... But like Pet Duck Boy said, I guess if they eat and drink they are okay
