    ok so i lied!

I got one on my back porch about three months ago- in a shoe of all places.

four weeks ago I found a duck sitting on four under a bush. . . all DOUBLE or tripple yolkers.

then two days ago i got a brow/brick red egg with lighter almost white or off white speckles. on my front porch in the puppy pen.

Today I got FOUR of the above, in the nest box.

    finally!

Is it safe to say that at least 4 hens now "get it"?

Sorry you lost the girls, but [IMG] that's a lot of eggs? Sneaky chickens.

Curious here, where'd your FIL find them?

it was a combination of the well pump house that has been open for a few days while we are fixing the well and the garden shed where I typically keep the girls food, but Have been cleaning out to make it a coop... so I guess they got that one right!
