Got our first 6 chicks!

    Yay! Finally got our first 6 chicks. Were all supposed to be Easter Eggers, however, when I saw the chicks, I wanted some of everything. haha....not sure how it will turn out?? Got one "Star", White Rock, Easter Egger w/puffy cheeks??...the lady I bot them from basically confused me as to what was what and why!....she was talking about them laying blue eggs because of they came from olive eggs and so forth. So, I guess we will just see what comes out of this assortment! Exciting! Definitely hoping the Star is a hen...very pretty. Will have some pics later :))

    Still looking for Dominques....and waiting on OEB in about 3 weeks......

    the "easter egger with puffy cheeks" is probably an americauna. How old are they?

    I believe they are 3 different ages. I know the "star" is the oldest...the others just barely getting wing feathers? I forgot to ask her how old exactly they were.

    They are SO cute, i am trying to find a Canadian Hatchery that will ship in small quantities, so i hope that i will get my fluffy butts soon! Good Luck :)

    Craigslist is where I started, and the lady w/these cuties only lives 1.5 miles from me....go figure!

    I have found specific breeds, both chickens and turkeys online locally and they don't have the stress of going through the mail.
