This one is an EE. I've been saying boy, but lately I am getting suspicious. It is not near as big as the ones I KNOW are boys. Tail is shorter and rounder. Comb isn't nearly as big or red. I thought given the genetics of the EE mix (blue ameraucana daddy and barred rock) that it had to be male. But now I don't know. [IMG]

    Thoughts?

Okay, I know the barred EE is a boy. Look at that comb! The blue is behind him. That comb is no where near as red or as big!

Come on EE gurus! Tell me what you think.

Looks like a cockerel to me.. I've bought EE "pullets" at swaps, and they look just like yours.Yet a few weeks later they crow.
    I'm guessing by the tail.

Here is one "pullet". He is the one in the front right-

Now here he is a few days later..Notice the tail (back)-

Here he is 2 months later (Right)-

He/she/it hatched the second week of March, so almost 13 weeks old.

I know! This one is tricky! Usually I can tell by the comb, but this one is all over the place. Its tail is also not as long or "streamy" as the other ones I know to be roos. I just can't decide... [IMG]

I vote pullet! Even though the comb seems to have three rows, I don't think it's big or red enough at that age to be a roo. You have some beautiful birds!
