i got three bunnies from trader days in buffalo ohio and they are so cute.
i got a dutch buck , a san juan doe, and a white doe of some sort.

this is mia. i have no idea what breed she is but she has blue eyes and grey ears and nose. any help would be great. she is a doe.

this is ginger. she is a san juan. and she is also a doe.

aw great looking rabbits!
the color of your doe would be himalayan...and that could be the breed(himalayan) or just her color of a different breed...depends on size...and age in the pic

San Juan? I used to have a doe with a wilder coloring but I always thought she was a mutt!

I had a rescued dutch buck... but he growled at me! He was a former science class pet and someone took him home, they lived in a bad neighborhood. When the teacher picked him up on their front porch her growled and attacked when you got near him. I took him in and he died of a cancerous tumor a year later.


Your rabbits are so pretty though! I love the ears on that white one!

I think the white one is a mutt. Definately not a himalayan, they look like a paper towel roll. the closest rabbit I can think of is the Dwarf Hotot or a Mini
Satin.

I had never heard of a San Juan rabbit before, does anybody know if it is one of the ARBA recognized breeds only under a different name?

San Juan rabbits are feral rabbits that reside on San Juan Island. There has been some effort to catch and breed them, but they're highly uncommon. I'd guess someone sold you a mutt and attached a fancy name to it.
