Meet Stella. 1.5 year old Easter Egger hen. We noticed today that her feet seem swollen and a little tender. Her activity level and food consumption seem normal, she does seem to be walking a little gingerly. She has multiple swollen areas on her feet and I'm trying to sort out what she has going on. There's a spot that seems consistent with bumblefoot, but she has problems on both feet and multiple spots. We let Stella and her 5 sisters free range in our backyard. Any thoughts/ recommendations? We washed her feet and soaked in Epsom salts for about 15 minutes earlier today, then sprayed on some Vetericyn. I appreciate your time.

Try some prid! It comes in a little jar, and I usually apply after some betadine. Poor girl, she might have an underlying problem that makes her feet sensitive, I’ve had birds like that, and develop worts on their feet all kinds of stuff. Keep up with the epsom salt soaks and maybe try the prid and definitely some betadine if you have any on hand.

Thanks so much. She's seemed to have a few issues with her feet/ legs, so I wonder if she's just more sensitive. I will try the Prid and betadine!
