Two questions:

1. I recently switched from a granite grit to a limestone grit. Are they interchangeable for gizzard purposes? (I feed oyster shell in addition.)

2. How long do your ducks stop laying when molting? I have Welsh Harlequins who are almost one year old.

Granite and limestone are not interchangeable. Granite is very hard and angular, and hard stone is used in the gizzard to help grind food so that it is more digestible. Limestone is too soft for digestion.
