I have never felt really close with my Silver Laced Polish hen but yesterday I went out like always to feed the chickens and get them clean water. When I entered the run Duchess looked up at me and started making little squawks like she was talking to me. She followed me around the coop as I was working just talking away. I couldnt believe how cute that girl could be.
