Yesterday and today were hatch day to a bunch of chicks. I have several black, splash and blue Jersey Giants, and some blue BC Marans X welsummers. The chicks are blue like their Marans father (Who is only 5 months old!) The hens are my champion Wellie hens. I do not have a roo for them so I put my blue BC Marans cockerel in with them, and whala! We have chicks!! (No pictures of them yet)
Also my beautiful butterscotch call duck hatched out 3 out of 4 eggs today. One looks like it might be yellow. They are sooo cute!!
