So far these have been hands down the best thing I’ve done for them/me. They consistently have clean water, they reach up to drink and I believe helps them. And the ducks can’t splash it every where! I just keep adjusting the height as they grow! I will definitely be setting up a gravity fed system this weekend for the coop/run.

Thanks for looking!

Just remember that the ducks need to be able to "dunk" their beak to clean their nose. I'm sure they would do it in whatever pool/pond you give them. Mostly just mentioning it for others who read this. Nipples don't work for ducks long term.

Thanks your right I should have pointed that out about the ducks. I put a coffee can filled with water in there for them to be able to do just that. As far as long term for them they will have this.

I too have a litter bucket feeder. This cost a duckling its life. :hit
I think that having one in with babies is just fine, but my problem is that I relied on the mom to fix whatever was making the baby cry. Not that Baby cried a lot.
Baby got into the feeder, and couldn’t figure how to get out. It was November, and very cold. Mom couldn’t do a thing to warm the baby, and it froze. She is a Muscovy, so couldn’t cry out to get my attention.
