It was making me anxious being at work all day, and not being able to see my 5 week old chickens in their coop. I had just put them out there a week before (it was warm enough here in Florida). So during Prime Days on Amazon, I picked up a nifty solar powered video camera for my girls. I love it. I am now addicted to watching the them during the day. All Chickens - All the time. I can connect to my wifi router all the way in the backyard. So happy with this camera, that I just wanted to share.

That is great. I would love to see my chickens while at work. Beats the heck out of solitaire anyday. Thanks for the link.

Hi Anne, I just joined today and we are about to put our few month old 2 white Silkies outside in their coop. Ive been hesitant to do it yet because our weather in North Texas has been so crazy here and its been anywhere from the 30's to the 80's and I have been raising them inside since I got them a couple months ago. Anyway, I am wanting to put them in the outdoor coop but feel like I need a camera inside so I can check on them. I only got my first golden sex links last easter so I am new to all this chicken stuff. My Goldens's coop is still in our barn and we let them free range during the day. When they are around the baby silkies they pretty much ignore them. I just don't want any trouble between the 2 breeds so I haven't had them alone together before Im sure its ok. Anyway, I saw your pos about your camera you have in your coop and wanted to ask you how and where you mounted it in your coop and ask how hard it was to mount. Thanks, Im looking foward to hearing from you!

Can I ask how far away from your WiFi the camera is?
