Has anyone ever seen a green chicken?? When I was little I went to an animal park and they had what they called a "Green Irish hen", and it was mint green! I have NEVER seen anything like it since then. I'm thinking maybe it was colored??

I'm thinking it was either not a chicken or colored, too.

The closest you can get are black chickens with a seriously good sheen.

I wish I had taken a photo of it! I was only 12 years old, but I remember it plain as day! I saw it at an animal park in Ohio and it was the color of a shamrock shake! To this day, it still bothers me how it got green!

It was definitely a chicken. And not a shiny, black one. That baffles me to this day!
