Hi all. Brand new here. Do the females not have the sheen of the males? I have a roo and a pullet, same age, 5 weeks.
The roo glows and the pullet is duller, cant see that beautiful sheen on her. Is this normal? Does it come later?

Also, the roo has a nice size pinkish red comb, but it is crooked. Is this a problem? Have a barred rock male and his comb is straght, same age.
