Hi everyone. I'm in the middle of processing a two-year old hen. Once I removed all her feathers, I noticed a green sac under her wing - right in the "arm" pit, about the size of a nickel, under the skin. Any ideas? Thanks!!

Any chance it could be a bloated tick?

EDIT: Oops, nevermind. Didn't see that it was under the skin.

It could be an abcess or perhaps a healing hematoma (bruise/blood clot).

I'd cut it out carefully and see how the meat around it looks.
