Does anyone know why Greenfire Farms is selling day old chicks now rather than juvenile pairs? [IMG]

They still do sell some started pairs, maybe they are sold out of all of their started birds but still have chicks available.

Quote:I looked over their website again and saw that they do in fact still offer some juvies. It just seems odd to me that they would suddenly start selling chicks.

I don't really see how a hatchery could run out of stock, if that were the case you would think they would list that the birds were sold out on the breed pages?

Maybe they wound up with more chicks than they have room for to get to juvie age?

Quote:That can't be why- they're selling day old chicks, so you can't run out of room if you haven't even hatched the chicks yet!
