Greeting Chicken Friends Need Help

Hello my name is Tara I live in Michigan, south eastern area. I have a small flock of ladies no two are the same. I love collecting rare breeds. I am looking to add this year silkies, tolbunt polish, blue laced wyandotte, calico cochins and a few others. I am interested in baby chicks and juveniles. If you know of someone in Michigan who is selling the above mentioned please let me know. I look forward to meeting chicken enthusiast like myself.

Greetings and welcome to BYC Tara! So glad you joined us. Sounds like you already have and want to expand a very diverse collection! You'll have quite the group of yard candy to watch! There's a wealth of info, knowledge and experience shared in the multitude of threads. Browse around and see what interesting stuff you can find. By all means post away when the desire strikes you, especially if you have questions (provide as much detail/info as possible and pictures truly help)... With all the great folks here, generally someone will respond in no time at all. Please make yourself at home!

Oh, if you haven't done so already, PLEASE put at least your general location in your profile. It could be very important if/when you ask for or offer help or advice. You know, climate issues and such. I recommend at least your state as most folks won't be able to figure out where if you put anything more specific (county, town, street, etc) by itself. Old folks like me will never remember & look there first. To add it, mouse hover over Account top right and a drop down will appear. Click on Personal Details and scan down. You'll see the spot for Location. Then go to the bottom and save changes. Thanks! Hope you enjoy the site!

Yep we are all wierdos in our own unique ways. I never would have thought for a moment that I could love a chicken. I mean how cray cray is it to sit outside in a rocking chair and just enjoy spending time watching them do their thing, or having a conversation with a chicken that comes up to say hi? Ok this post convinced me I probably need to be on some kind of medication since I said it out loud.
