Hello all Im Sheila and I live in Central Illinois. I am new to raising chickens so I will have lots of questions for all of you. I am mom to 5 kids 4 dogs and 16 chickens. and my daughter has 7 rats and a hampster. Full house and then some. Pic of some of my babies

so how is everyone chickens doing with this heat and humidity we have been having? I've been going crazy trying to keep my girls cool. Put fan in their coop giving them cool water several times a day. My big girls free range during the day and have plenty of shade. The babies are in their own coop as they are still a little to small to be with the big girls yet but their coop is in shade and they have a run to go out into. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreicated.
