I arrived in California in 2000 via Washington via Delaware. I have 5 pullets that are almost ten weeks old, which I purchased in April when they were three days old. Eggs and a little backyard entertainment for the family was my primary reasons for wanting to raise chickens, and the fact that we are not dog and cat folks. The breeds I/we have are: white leghorn, RIR, black Partridge Cochin, and two buff orpingtons. This site was an invaluable source of information during my research phase.
